ORDINANCE NO. 1235
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMPNDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE
LYNWOOD MUN+ICIPAL CODE, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
FROM R-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R-3
(MTJLTI-FAMILY RESIDENTL9L)

The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as
follows:
Section 1. Chapter 25, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lynwood, and the
official Land Use Element for said City established thereby are amended to
re-classify from R-L (Single-Family Residential) to R-3 (Multi-Family
Residential) that certain real property described as follows:
J.J. Bu1Lis Tract lot com S 71 E L6000. 36 ft. & S L9. 15 W 30 ft. from most N
cor complete description in assessors records lot 2.
Section 2. Severabiiity. If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence,
clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance or the appLicationthereofto any
person or place, is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the
decision of any court or competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to other
persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted
this ordinance, and each section thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or
more section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion, or the application
thereof to any person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certify to the
passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, and circulated in
the City of Lynwood.

First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 21st day of August 1984, and
finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 4th day of September 1984.
