AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
CHAPTER 25 OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM. R-3 (MULTI-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL TO R-2 (TWO-FAh1ILY RESIDENTIAL).

The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as
Section 1. Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code and the
official zoning map are hereby amended to reclassify the following properties
from R-3 (Multi-Family Residential) to R-2 (Two-Family Residential.):

Section 2. The Negative Declaration prepared by the Community
Development Department for this change of zone is in compliance with the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is hereby certified.
Section 3. Sever ability. In any section, subsection subdivision,
sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance, or the application
thereof to any person or place, is for any reason to be invalid or unconsti-
tutional by the decision of any court or competent jurisdiction, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance or its
application to other persons or places. The Cith Council hereby declares that
it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivision,
sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any
one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases or
portions of the application thereof to any person or place be declared invalid
or unconstitutional,
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certify
to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in
the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on the 18th day of D m ~ 1984, and finally ordered published at a
regular meeting of said Council held of the 2nd day of January 198
