A Special Meeting was held by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret on Wednesday, February 23, 2000, 7:05
P.M., at the Carteret Free Public Library, 100 Cooke Avenue,
Carteret, New Jersey.
The following were noted present:
Mayor James A. Failace
Councilmember Crilley
" Fazekas
" O'Brien
" Santoro
Noted absent was Councilmembers Quinones and Sohayda.
Also noted present was Borough Attorney, Craig Coughlin, Simon
Bosco, Greg Denton, Nick Mirandi, Chris Elg and Dave La Point.
Mailed to The Home News Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted
on the Bulletin Board on February 16, 2000.
To adopt a resolution to go into Closed Session, Re: PBA
Grievances and any other business that may come before the
Council.
RESOLUTION #00-75 was introduced by the Mayor and referred
to the Council for action.
Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers O'Brien and Fazekas
RESOLUTION #00-75
"RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION"
was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote Councilrnembers
Crilley, Fazekas, O'Brien, Quinones and Santoro voted in the
affirmative. Councilmembers Quinones and Sohayda were noted
absent.
At approximately at 7:07 P.M., a Closed Session was held.

unanimous affirmative vote of the five (5) Councilmembers
present this meeting was re-opened at approximately 9:00 P.M.
Councilmember Quinones was noted present during the Closed
Session.
Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers O'Brien and Fazekas and
unanimous affirmative vote of the five (5) Councilmembers
present, after no further discussion, this meeting was adjourned at
approximately 9:01 P.M.
