ORDINANCE NO. 1230
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD MUNIDCIPALCCODEEBY2CHANGINGNTHE OZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 25 of the Lynwooareuamended toareclassify
Zoning Ordinance, and the official Zoning Map
the following properties from R-1 (Single-Family Residential) to R-2
(Two-Family Residential):
Real Property in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, Parcel 1: 4225 Imperial Highway,
Lynwood, California. The West half of Lot 9, of Tract
5103, as per map recorded in Book 53, Page 55 of Maps, in
the office of the county recorder of said county, except
the Northerly 150 feet of said land.
Parcel 2: 4229 Imperial Highway, Lynwood, California, The
East 91.5 feet,of the Northwesterly 411.56 feet of the
Southerly 445.06 feet of Lot 9, Tract 5103, as per map
recorded in Book 53, of Maps, in the office.
Section 2. Severability. In any section, subdivision,
sentence, clause, phrase or P ion of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason to be
invalid.,,or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or competent
jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of the ordinance or its application to other persons
or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted
this ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivisions, sentences,
clauses, phrases or portions of the application thereof to any
person or place be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be
published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
day of lulu , 1984, and
City held on the 17th
finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on
the 7th day of August 1984.
