HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 1233 ORDINANCE N0. 1233 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNSd00D AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE LYNWOOD MUICIPAL CODE, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-3 (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO H-M-D (Hospital-Medical-Dental): 3611 Imperial Hwy. The City Council of the City of Lynwood HEREBY DOES ORDAIN as follows: Section 1.. Chapter 25, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lynwood is thereby amended to re-classify from R-3 (Multi-Family Residential) to H-M-D (Hospital-Medical--Dental)'ahat certain real property described as follows: That portion of-the 62.82 acre tract, of the land of The Rancho San Antonio, in the city of Lynwood, in the county of Los Angeles, state of California, allotted to Wm. McGrindle, by the final decree in partition in an action entitled Lewis Moore, et al., vs., Francisco Lugo, et al., Case No. 3590 of the District Court of said county, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of said 62.82 acre tract at its intersection with the southerly line of Norton Avenue, said southerly line being parallel with and distant southerly 33.00 feet measured at right angles from the north line of said tract; thence South 190 56' West along the westerly line of said tract, 400.78 feet to a point in the south line of Los Flores Boulevard, 40 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 2551, recorded in book 24 pages 78 to 80 of Maps, records of said county, said county, said point being the true point of~beginning, said point being in a non-tangent curve concave to the Southwest having a radius of 55.58 feet, a radial line of said curve through said point bearing South 5° 58' 30" West; thence southeasterly along said curve 54.55 feet; thence tangent to said curve South 270 47' 00" East 147.40 feet; thence southwesterly along a tangent curve concave'-to the northwest having a radius of 20.00 feet; 31.42 feet to the northwesterly line of Imperial Highway, 100 feet wide, as described in the Decreee of Condemnation in Superior Court Case No. 254788, a certified copy of said Decree being recorded in book 10395 page 154, Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said county: thence tangent to said curve South 620 13' West along said northwesterly line 142.82 feet; thence southwesterly along a tangent curve concave northwesterly, having a radius of 450.00 feet 87.92 feet to a point in the westerly line of said 62.82 acre tract, a radial line to said curve at said point bearing South 160 35' 22" East; thence along said westerly line North 190 56' East, 304.77 feet to the point of beginning, together with that portion of the northwest half of said Imperial Highway, adjoining said land on the southeast. Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, subdivi- sion, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion, or the application therof to any person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional. ~• .4 ~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) ss. The CS.ty Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood. First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 7th day of August 1984, and finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 21st day of Nugust 1984.
