Changes to Leesburg Trash, Recycling, Yard Waste and Bulk
Item Collection Schedule Over 4th of July Holiday
Leesburg, VA (June 18, 2014) – There will be no trash, recycling, yard waste or bulk item
collection in the Town of Leesburg on Friday, July 4, 2014, due to the 4th of July Holiday.
There will be no trash, recycling and yard waste collection schedule for residential customers in
Northeast and Northwest quadrants, including North King Street, on Friday, July 4, 2014. Trash,
recycling and yard waste will be collected on Saturday, July 5, 2014, in these quadrants.
Commercial curbside business customers in the Historic Downtown will not have trash or
recycling collected on Friday, July 4, 2014. Trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday,
July 5, 2014, for commercial curbside customers.
Bulk items will be not collected on Friday, July 4, 2014. Bulk items will be collected on Thursday,
July 3, 2014. Requests for item pick-up must be received by 12 noon on Wednesday, July 2,
2014. Residents can place bulk item pick-up requests via email (trash@leesburgva.gov), the
Town website (www.leesburgva.gov/bulkitempickup) or phone (703-771-2790).
As a reminder, the Leesburg Town Offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2014, in observance
of the 4th of July holiday.
