AN ORDINANCE OI' THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY
OI' LYNWOOD AMENDING TIIE ZONING ORDINANCE BY
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood llOES HEREBY ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1, Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, the
Zoning Ordinance, and the official Zoning Map are amended to reclassify
the following properties:
From M(Manufacturing) to C-3(Heavy Commercial):
The westerly 1/2 of Lot 16, Lots 17, 18, 19, 32, 33, 34, 35
36, 37, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 46 of the Modjeska Park Tract,
commonly known as 2971, 2935, 2931, 2929, 2927, 2921 and
2901 Imperial Highway, Lynwood.
Lots 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31
of the Modjeska Park Tract (no street address), Lynwood,
From P-1(Automobile Parking) to R-3(Multi-Family Residential):
Lots 21 and 22 of the Modjeska Park Tract, commonly known
as 2980 Beachwood Avenue, Lynwood,
Section 2, Severability, In any section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance, or
the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
or competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the valid-
ity of the remaining portions of the ordinance or its application to
other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it
would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective
of the Fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions,
sentences, clauses, phrases or portions of the application thereof to
any person or place be declared invalid or unconstitutional,
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Lynwood,

First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 7th day of June 1983,
and finally ordered pu lished at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 71st _ day of lone 1983.
