PLACE: Riverdale City Hall, 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa
DATE: April 12, 2022 TIME: 6:30 p.m.
NOTE: The Budget Hearing was held in -person at the appointed time and day in accordance with open
meeting laws set and defined by the State of Iowa (Sections 21.2 and 21.8).
1. CALL TO ORDER - Heddlesten called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL - Present: Adams, DCamp, Jurgena, Littrel. Absent: None. Also present: Mayor Heddlesten, City
Administrator Royster, and several members of the public.
3. OPEN PUBLIC HEARING - Heddlesten opened the public hearing at 6:31 p.m.
4. PRESENTATION OF THE PROPOSED FY23 BUDGET - Royster discussed the reasoning behind the
additional budget hearing.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT - No questions or comments from the public.
5. CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION - Council discussed beginning the budget process earlier in the budget
season.
6. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING - Heddlesten closed the public hearing at 6:57 p.m.
8. ADJOURNMENT - Motion by Jurgena to adjourn at 6:57 p.m., seconded by DCamp. All ayes, MC
