HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 1214~. , ,• ORDINANCE NO. 1214 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE, "ZONING," CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM P-1 (AUTOMOBILE PARKING) TO RESIDENTIAL ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS. The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, "Zoning," is amended to reclassify from P-1 (Automobile Parking) to R-3 (Multi- Family Residential) certain real property described as follows: Lots 1169, 1170, 1179 and 1180 Tract No. 3025, commonly known as 3312 and 3320 Euclid Avenue and 3327 Orchard Avenue, Lynwood. Section 2. Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, "Zoning," is further amended to reclassify from from P-1 (Automobile Parking) to R-1 (Single-Family Residential) certain real property described as follows: Lots 519 and 520 of Tract No. 25551, commonly known as 3521 and 3525 Lynwood Road and 11547, 11553 and 11555 Lewis Street; Lots 796, 797, the westerly 50 feet of Lot 805, 806,.814, 815, 816, 821, 822, 830, 831, and 834 of Tract No..3078 commonly known as 3530 Josephine Street, 3517, 3520, 3521, 3526, 3530 and 3534 Virginia Avenue, 3515, 3516, 3519, 3522 and 3528 Agnes Avenue, and 3519 Cedar Avenue; The westerly 50 feet of Lot 858, Lots 859, 860, 869, westerly 50 feet of Lot 889, Lots 890, 891, 899, 900, 943, 944, 952, 966, 967 and 975 of Tract No. 3172, commonly known as 3511, 3517, 3520, 3526 and 3530 Burton Avenue; 3524, 3532, 3538 and 3542 Magnolia Avenue; 3517, 3519 and 3527 Carlin Avenue; 3518, 3524 and 3528 Palm Avenue; 3520, 3522, and 3526 Euclid Avenue; and 3517 Orchard Avenue. Section 3. Severability. If any section, subsection, sub- division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason or competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sec.tion,.subsection, sentence,--clause;--phraso or portion, or the application thereof to any person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper or general cir- culation, printed, published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood. First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 4th day of October 1983, and finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 18th day of October 1983.
