AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYN11'OOD AMENDING CHAPTER 25, "ZONING," OF THE
LYNwOOD MUNICIPAL CODE BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, the
Zoning Ordinance, and the official Zoning Map are amended to reclassi-
fy the following properties from C-2A (Medium Commercial) to C-3
(Heavy Commercial):
Lots 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 and 39 of the Modjeska Park
Tract and Lots 94, 95, 96, 97 and 98 of Tract No. 2551,
commonly known as 11011, 11015, 11027, 11035, 11103 and
11123 Long Beach Boulevard, Lynwood.
Section 2. Severability. In any section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phraerson o~rtlaceofishforoanynreasonoto
the application thereof to any p p
be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or com-
petent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portions of the ordinance or its application to other
persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would
have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivision,
sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact
that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences,
clauses, phrases or portions of the application thereof to any per-
son or place be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 6th day of December 1983, and finally
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
20th day of December 1983.
