AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-24 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING
SCHEDULE OF RESERVED PARKING SPACES
WHEREAS, Section 8-24 of the Greencastle City Code lists the reserved parking spaces
within the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Fire Department is in need of additional parking.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
Section 8-24, Schedule of Reserved Parking Spaces, is hereby amended to include the following:
STREET LOCATION/TIME AUTHORIZED TIME
RESERVED VEHICLES LIMIT
Indiana Street One (1) space on the Fire Department No limit
east side between Walnut personnel
Street and Poplar Street
is reserved at all times
Poplar Street First two spaces along Fire Department No limit
south side, immediately personnel
east of Indiana Street
are reserved at all times
NOW THEREFORE be it further ordained that all other language in Section 8-24 not
specifically amended hereby shall remain in full force and effect.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
