ORDINANCE NO. 1191
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE LYNWOOD
MUNICIPAL CODE, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, PERTAIN-
ING TO THE MINIMUM REQUIRED DISTANCE BETWEEN
BUILDINGS IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection 13, 14 and 15 of Section 25-4.Sa of
Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, the Zoning Ordinance, are
hereby deleted in their entirety.
SECTION 2. Subsections 13 and 14 are hereby added to Section
25-4.Sa of Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, the Zoning
Ordinance, to read as follows:
R-1 R-2 R-3
'13. Distance between main buildings. 10' 10' 10'
14. Dwelling width, minimum 20' 20' 20'
SECTION 3. Subsection d3 of Section 25-4.6 of Chapter 25 of the
Lynwood Municipal Code, the Zoning Ordinances, .be amended to read as follows:
"3. A detached structure shall maintain a minimum five (5) foot
separation from the main structure."

SECTION 4. Severability. If any section, subsection, subdivision,
sentance, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance, held to be in-
valid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of compentent
jursidiction, such decision shall not affect the validity or the remain-
ing portions of this ordinance or its application to other persons or
places. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this
ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more
sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or
portions, or the application thereof to any person or place, be declared
invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be
published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 21st day of December, 1982, and finally ordered pub-
lished at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 4th day of
January, 1983.
