AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING CHAPTER 25. OF THE LYNWOOD
MUNICIPAL CODE, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, PERTAINING
TO PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONAL USES.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION_1. Section 25-25.10a of the Lynwood Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"25-25.10 Pre-gxisting Conditional Use
a. A conditional use legally established prior to the
effective date of an ordinance regulating such condi-
tional use shall be permitted to continue, provided it
is abated as prescribed in Subsection 25-15.6 and it
is operated and maintained in accordance with applicable
Zoning Ordinance requirements in effect at the time of its
establishment".
SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance,
or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitui.onal by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to
other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it
would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective
of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions,
sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions, or the application thereof
to any person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to
be published once in the Lynevood Press, a newspaper of general cir=
culation, printed, published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 18th_ _ day of Janu~rv , 1983, and
finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held
on the lst ~_ day of ~february , 1983.
