ORDINANCE NO. 1188
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 570, THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1
(SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO M (D'IANUFACTUR-
ING)
The City Council of the City of Lyntiaood DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 570, the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Lynwood, and the official Zoning Map are amended to
reclassify from R-1 (Single-Family Residential) to M (Manufactur-
ing) certain real property described as:
Lots 1,3,5,7,9 and 11, Block B of the watts Park
Tract, commonly known as 10761 Alameda Street,
Lynwood.
SECTION 2. Severability. In any section, subsection,
subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance,
or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of
any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance or its
application to other persons or places. The City Council hereby
declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section;
subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion there-
of, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, sub-
sections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or-portions
of the application thereof to any person or place be declared invalid
or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Lynwood.
