AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
SECTION 3-32 OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE 1VITH
RESPECT TO THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF REAL ESTATE
SIGNS.

The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREHY
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3-32 (b) is amended by adding a number
3 to read as follows:
3. Signs pertaining to the sale, lease, or rental of a
particular building or property upon which a sign
is displayed shall not exceed six (6') feet in over-
all height from the ground level, including all
appendages.
SECTION 2. Severability. In any section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance, or
the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of the ordinance or its application to
other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it
would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase"or portion thereof, irrespective
of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivision,
sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions, or the application thereof
to any person of place be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk i.s hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Lyn-
wood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 20th day of ~i,7r;1 , 1982, and
finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held
on the 4th day of May 1982.
