ORDINANCE NO. 1176
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING SECTION 25-4.5 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD REGARDING REAR
YARD SETBACK AND LANDSCAPED OPEN SPACE
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CITY'S R-3 (MULTI-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 25-4.5a(8) of the Code of the City
of Lynwood is amended to read as follows:
"8. Rear yard, in feet RR=1 R-2 R-3 "
(see subparagraph 20' 20' 10'
h.16.)
Section 2. Section 25-4.Sb(3) of the Code of the City
of Lynwood is amended to read as follows:
"3. In the R-3 Zone a minimum of twenty-five (25)
percent of the site area shall be comprised of
landscaped open space to be provided with an
automatic irrigation system. Outdoor recreation
facilities may be included as part of the re-
quired landscaped open space."
Section 3. Severability. If any section, subsection,
subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance,
or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of the ordinance or its application to
other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it
would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective
of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions,
sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions of the application thereof
to any person or place be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general cir-
culation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 20th day of July 1982, and finally
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
3rd day of August 1982.
