APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
GLENN SLAVIN, ESQ.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional legal serdces with regard to
the review and enforcement of ABC license related matters; and
WHEREAS, Glenn Slavin, Esq., possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide
said spechliTed legal services; and
WHEREAS, Glenn Slavin, Esq. has submitted a proposal to provide said services at an
hourly rate of $125.00 per hour not to exceed a maximum cost of $5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret that the Glenn Slavin, Esq. is hereby appointed special counsel to address ABC
license related matters at an hourly rate of $125.00 for a maximum cost not to exceed
$5,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this appointment is made as a professional service
as defined byN.J.S.A~ 40A:11-2(6).
