ORDINANCE NO. 1157
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
(ORDINANCE NO. 570) BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM CB-1
(CONTROLLED BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO H-M-D
(HOSPITAL-MEDICAL-DENTAL)
The City Council of the City of Lynwood HEREBY DOES ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 570, the Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Lynwood, is amended to reclassify from CB-1 (Controlled Business
District) to H-M-D (Hospital-Medical-Dental) certain real property
described as follows:
Lots 1 through 25 of Tract No. 14391; Lots 65, 66, 67,
115, 116, 117, a portion of 118, 128, the southerly 10
foot portion of 131, 129, 130, 168, 169, and 170 of
Surveyors Book 16, Page 37.
3636, 3650, 3654, and 3666 Imperial Highway; 3617, 3621,
3625, 3633, 3637, 3641, 3737, and 3663 Century Boulevard.
All within the corporate limits of the City of Lynwood.
SECTION 2. Severability. In any section, subsection, subdivi-
sion, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held
to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of the ordinance or its application to other
persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would
have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivision,
sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact
that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivision, sentences,
clauses, phrases, or portions, or the application thereof to any
person of place be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be
published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 2nd day of March 1982, and finally
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
16th day of March 1982.
