AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($960,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Lang Royce Sanitary Relief (Fargo Dr to Floridale Ct) (12325) in the Cities of
Ferguson and Dellwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22025
with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Eight Hundred Forty
Thousand Dollars ($840,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project expenses is One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($960,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Lang
Royce Sanitary Relief (Fargo Dr to Floridale Ct) (12325) in the Cities of Ferguson and Dellwood,
Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22025
with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in
Lang Royce Sanitary Relief (Fargo Dr to Floridale Ct) (12325) in the Cities of Ferguson and
Dellwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 18th day of March, 2021.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 13, 2021.
