AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR APPRAISAL
CONSULTING SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TAX ASSESSOR'S
OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Borough is in need of professional municipal tax appraisal
inspection services; and
WHEREAS, Robert Sweency possesses the requisite knowledge, training,
experience and professional license to provide said services, and has submitted a proposal
to perform said services at a rate of $30.00 per hour, not to exceed a total amount of
$1,140.00; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or
will be available for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Robert Sweeney for professional municipal tax
appraisal inspection services at a total cost not to exceed $1,140.00 at the
hourly rate of $30.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A: 11-5(1)(a).
Adopted this 22nd day of July, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 23, 2004.
