June 5, 2014 Minutes approved with spelling correction
Agricultural Land discussion was withdrawn at request of owner.
Reservoir View:
Mr. Olsen presented a tentative plan for development of thirty-five acres off
Spring Street. He is offering the Town ten acres of land in the middle of the development
for approximately one hundred thousand dollars. The parcel does not include the ledge or
gorge. He also would like to have an eighteen-foot easement to the back land. The
parcel is not desirable without the back nineteen plus acres. The connection to land held
by HALT would be the reason and benefit for purchasing this piece.
Mr. King appraised this development in the past and will need to be consulted as to the
value of the ten acres. The application for purchase needs to be submitted to CPC by
October.
Mr. Olsen will e-mail the plans to Open Space members. He has legal work that needs to
be completed before the August 4, 2014 Planning Board meeting and before our next
meeting on August 7, 2014
