A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR
AMENDMENT TO THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION AND VARIANCE
APPLICATIONS OF THE ZONING CODE
Whereas; The City recognizes that updates need to be made to have applications be as
current with information as possible and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of.Tiffin recognizes that to do it's due diligence for
the Special Exception and Variance Applications it needs to have wording updated to
show more clarification for processing and deadline details;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a date for public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on 07/23/14.
On'the 25th day of June, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2014-081, A RESOLUTION SETTING
A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION
AND VARIANCE APPLICATIONS OF THE ZONING CODE and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Bartles, Kahler, Ryan, Upton
Nays: none.
Absent: Petersen.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-081, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION AND
VARIANCE APPLICATIONS OF THE ZONING CODE to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 25TH day of June, 2014.
