AWARD OF BID- 2004 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WltEREAS, receipt bids for the 2004 Road Improvement Program were authorized by
appropriate resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough of Carteret to award said bid;
and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
BIDDER BID PRICE
1. DeFino Contracting Co., Inc. $426,422.63
2. Star of the Sea Concrete Corp. $452,121.50
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough o
Carteret that the bid for the 2004 Road Improvement Project is hereby awarded to:
DeFino Contracting Co., Inc.
Adopted this 22nd day of July, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 23, 2004.
