Meeting Minutes of 3-10-14
The Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order by Chairman Bob Dobinski on Monday, March
10th at 7:04 pm Dan Terry, Eric Sonnett, Tim Kilduff, Amy Markovich, Kevin Hanley and Jack Nealon
were present.
Andy Deshane was present.
- Meeting Minutes from the 2/24/14 meeting were approved 4-0
Marathon Report: Distributed the updated version of the Town Common layout 4/21/14
- The Start Ops Map was explained
- Commission expressed concerns of the Town Common on Race Day
- Members make comments about procedure for 2015 going back to normal
Directors Report:
Planet Payment $22,944.46 charge
Marathon Vendor Packets went out 3/6/14
Fee for the Farmers Market
Motion - Eric Sonnet motions to issue a permit and set the fee at $500 5-0
Babe Ruth
New buoys for Sandy Beach // Lifejackets
Girl Scouts to clean up Sandy Beach
Wellness Fair
Basketball and Ski Programs ended this week
Brochure to go out to the public this Saturday
Graffiti on the Dog House at Carrigan Park

Budget Follow-up: Most updated version of the Budget distributed
Liaison Reports:
Sandy Beach: Playground design is moving forward
LMPA: is looking forward towards the grand opening Family Fun Day
Fruit St: Plowing is complete and ready for soccer
Chairman’s Report:
-Fast Athletics
-Reached out to HHS Athletics to use Fruit St
-Collection of money for Hopkinton Youth Football
-Mike Scire is in the process of organizing a maintenance program for HLL
