A RESOLUTION RENAMING RIDGE DRIVE NW
Whereas, The City recognizes that this street should have been renamed when it was
annexed several years ago and it was not and;
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that in an effort to update all
of the out of town addresses to City of Tiffin addresses it needs to be updated and
changed and;
Whereas, it is the City of Tiffin's plan to update all addresses for emergency personnel
to have accurate information.
Now, therefore be it resolved bj the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
that the street name and address of Ridge Dr NW, Iowa City, is hereby changed to
Ridge Drive, Tiffin, Iowa.
On the 25th day of June, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2014-087, A RESOLUTION
RENAMING RIDGE DRIVE NW and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Bartles, Kahler, Upton, Ryan
Nays: none.
Absent: Petersen.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-087, A RESOLUTION RENAMING RIDGE
.DRIVE NW to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 25TH day of June, 2014.
