ORDINANCE N0. 1122
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.570
BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM P-1 (AUTOMOBILE
PARKING) TO C2A (MEDIUM COMMERCIAL) TO
PERMIT THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADDITIONAL
MOTEL UNITS
The City Council of the City of Lynwood HEREBY
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 570, the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Lynwood, and the official land use plan for said
City established thereby are amended to re-classify from P-1
(Automobile Parking) to C2A (Medium Commercial) that certain
real property described as follows:
Lots 919 and 927, and the west one-half of Lot
918, Tract No. 3172, commonly known as 12416
Long Beach Boulevead, Lynwood
SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, subsection,
subdivision,sentence, clause, phase or portion of this or-
dinance, or the application thereof to any person or place,
is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by
the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions of this ordinance or its application to other persons
or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would
have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection,
subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase of portion whereof
irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, sub-
sections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases,'_or•por-
tions, or the application thereof to any person or place, be
declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and dir-
ected to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to
cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 17th of March , 1981, and fin-
ally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 7th day of April 1981.
