APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE CEMENT AND -ELECTRICAL
WORK AT CITY PARK FOR THE SPLASH PAD, FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IA,
UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS AND RECOMMENDATION BY THE
CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK AND PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tiffin has received bids for the Cement and
Electrical Work at City Park for the Splash Pad Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin has. identified Freeman Construction as having the lowest, most
responsible bid that handles all of the City's requirements at $48,333; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin desires to expedite the contractual process; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin to authorize the
Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign all' necessary notices, documents, and forms of
contract, as required and necessary to execute a contract with Freeman Construction as identified
and recommended by the City Administrator/Clerk and Public Works.
