Cameron Woods and Whisper Way
Mr. Goldman read the changes to the CR and it is now ready for a vote and signature by the
Commission.
Mr. Goldman suggested we add sixteen plus acres of open space from the
Whisper Way development to the CR for Cameron Woods. This would tie all
the properties, including Phipps, in this area together. The endowment for HALT for
both properties, Cameron and Whisper Way is fifteen thousand five hundred dollars.
Mr. Doherty made a motion for two thousand five hundred dollar endowment for Whisper Way.
Mr. Ferrari second.
Motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Doherty made a motion for a thirteen thousand dollar endowment for Cameron Woods.
Ms. Peters second
Unanimously yes.
The responsible for the land is with Open Space. Mr. Doherty moved that we
schedule a discussion on the holders of the CR at next meeting. We will set
two thousand five hundred dollars aside for endowment.
Mr. Ferrari second.
Unanimously yes.
Mr. Doherty will talk with Elaine Lazarus from Land Use Management
regarding creating the Cr. Mr. Ferrari will draft a letter to Whisper Way home
owners regarding the CR as a courtesy.
Sylvan Way Tree Cutting
Mr. Doherty will request the Lessauers provide the commission pictures for a
base line documentation of the tree removal. There may be a need for
restoration of some of the trees.
Cameron Woods signs to show access to need to be edited.
Leonard Street:
There is no further information available from the neighbors regarding
purchase of the property as Open Space.
Ms.Wyckoff asked what action she may take regarding her sixty-six foot wide
rail trail property. She purchased the land from Penn Central and will look for
her deed for the land. Mr. Ferrari searched on line and found the deed,
19173/304 u25110 7/1988.
Spring Street Reservoir View Subdivision Plan
There is an effort to allow this three-lot subdivision, Reservoir View, to go
forward. It does not meet the frontage requirements for three lots. One lot
has no frontage. Planning Board has not approved it at this time.
Committee member status
Mr. Doherty appeared before BOS to request a member representative.
He will speak with the Conservation Commission regarding their representative.
Mrs. Peters made a motion to adjoin.
Mr. Ferrari second
Unanimously yes.
Respectfully Submitted by Nancy Peters
