A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE NEW
CCA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROPERTY TO A PUBLIC ZONING
Whereas, The City recognizes that the current zoning is an R1 -E zoning which does not
allow for a school and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that Planning & Zoning
recommended in March 2014 to approve the rezoning;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a date for public hearing on August 2, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. to rezone the new
CCA Elementary School property to a Public Zoning.
On the 23rd day of July, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2014-092, A RESOLUTION SETTING
A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE NEW CCA ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL PROPERTY TO A PUBLIC ZONING and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Upton, Petersen, Bartels, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: Ryan
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-092, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DTE FOR
,PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE NEW CCA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
PROPERTY TO A PUBLIC ZONING to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 23rd day of July, 2014.
