Board of Adjustments Minutes
Meeting : 7/17/13
Members Present: Fisher, Pelton, Staub, Hiles, Kosinski

Call to Order: 6:35PM
Adjourned: 7:15PM
Fisher opened the meeting of the Board of Adjustments at 6:35PM.
The annual BOA meeting opened with a review of the lawsuit filed by Marie Randol
and Alan Diercks. It was noted by Fisher that the timeframe for an appeal has
passed and this case is considered closed by our legal counsel.
The BOA discussed the need to revise the current application for a variance. It was
suggested that each member put together his or her own ideas and we would
discuss what changes we each felt were needed at the next meeting. All BOA
members agreed that it would be helpful to have guidelines listed as to what
constitutes ground for a variance.
Fisher then discussed term limits/end dates coming up and the need to elect
officers:
Fisher 12-31-13 (Current Chairman)
Hiles 12-31-15
Pelton 12-31-13
Kosinski (for Seaberg’s term) 12-31-15
Staub (for McDaniel) 12-31-13 (Current Secretary)
Motion made by Fisher to nominate Staub for continuing to secretary. Motion 2nd by
Hiles. Vote: All Ayes, motion passed.
Motion made by Fisher for Hiles to be the new Chairman. Motion 2nd by Pelton.
Vote: All Ayes. Motion passed.
All officers terms will begin 1-1-14. Staub agreed to continue in this post beyond
the 12-31-13 term and re-instate for another term.
The next BOA meeting will be September 4, 2013 at 6:30pm in the council
chambers.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15PM.
