A RESOLUTION SETTING SALARIES FOR APPOINTED A �Y 222S
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF MARCUS, I
JUNE 2023
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARCUS, IOWA:
Section 1. The following persons and positions named shall be paid the salaries or wages
indicated and the clerk is authorized to issue warrants/checks, less legally required
every authorized deductions from the amounts set out below, every 28 days, payable �Y 14
days with Sunday night being the end of the work period.

Overtime hours shall be paid for at one and a half times the hourly rate or equivalent rate
for the job performed. Employees may request or be asked to take off compensatory
hours for each overtime hour worked up to 40 hours.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this resolution by number and
title only.
