TEJE CITY COUNCIL OF TFIE CITY OF LYNWOO,D IIEREBY DDES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Article III hereby is added to Chapter 12 of the Lynwood Municipal Code as follows: Article III Fire Clearance and Inspection Fees Section 12-19. Fire Clearance Fees: All applications for :Business Licenses shall be accompanied with a Fire Clearance Inspection and Fire Clearance Fee. Section 12-20. Statement of Fire Clearance Fees: The Fire Chief, no later than December 1 of each year, shall prepare and fife with the City Clerk a statement of Fire Clearance Fees due and payable for the January 1, calendar year. Such Fire Clearance Fee shall be billed and payable with the annuatissuance of Licenses and License Fees. Section 12-21. When application for Fire Clearance is nrx3e in the last three (3) months of the year, the full Fire Clearance Fee shall be collected. The Fire Clearance Permit will be issued effective through the end of the following year. Section 12-22. SECTION 2, Severability, If any section subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance, 'or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held to be unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall. not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its applica- tion to other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdi.vi.sion, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, i.rrespecti.ve of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions of the application thereof to any person or place,, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
