ORDINANCE N0. 1052
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 1048.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI 1'Y OF LYNWOOD DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Division 4, commencing with Section 1'(-60
hereby is repealed from Article II of Chapter 17 of the Lynwood
City Code.
Section 2. If any section, subsection, subdivision,
sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any
court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its
application to other persons or places. The City Council declares
that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, sub-
section, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more section, subsections,
subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions, or the
application thereof to any person or place, be declared invalid
or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk hereby is authorized and
directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be published in the
LYNWOOD PRESS, a newspaper of general circulation in the City
within fifteen (15) days after the adoption hereof.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 5th day of September, 1978, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 19th day of September, 1978, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN BYORK, GREEN, MORRIS, ROWS.
NOES: COUNCILMAN HIGGINS.
ABSENT: NONE.
