A Special Meeting was held by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret on Thursday, May 4, 2000, 7:00 P.M., Municipal
CourtlPolice Facility, 230 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
PRESENT
Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present:
Mayor James A. Failace
Councilmember Patrick Crilley
" " Remy Quinones
" " Janet Santoro
" " Buddy Sohayda
Noted absent were Councilmembers Jack Fazekas, James O'Brien and
Borough Attorney Craig Coughlin.
Also noted present were Douglas Walsh, Esq., Business Administrator
Nicholas Goldsack, Victor Kazio, Michael Carnevale and Robert
Kately.
STATEMENT OF MEETING NOTICE
Statement of Meeting Notice was mailed to The Home News Tribune,
The Star Ledger and posted on the bulletin board on April 28, 2000.
PURPOSE OF MEETING
The purpose of the meeting was to adopt a Resolution to go into
Closed Session, Re: Personnel Matter.
RESOLUTION #00-139 (A) was introduced by the Mayor and
referred to the Council for action.
Upon MMS&C, by Councilmembers Crilley and Sohayda

was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers Crilley,
Quinones, Santoro and Sohayda voted in the affirmative.
Councilmembers Fazekas and O'Brien were noted absent.

unanimous affirmative vote of the five (5) members present, the
meeting was opened to the public at approximately 7:30 P.M.

There being no further discussion, upon MMS&C, by
Councilmembers Crilley and Sohayda and unanimous affirmative vote
of the five (5) members present, the meeting was adjourned at
approximately 7:31 P.M.
