'1SSe City Council. of the City of Lynwood hereby does
ordain as follows:
SECi'ION 1. Subsection (i).of Section 17-97 of the
Code of the City of Lynwood hereby is amended to read as follows:
(i) T}1e following occupations are specifically excluded:
a. zeal estate sales;
b. Beauty shops;
c. Doctors' offices;
d. ]3arber shops;
e. Cleaning and dyeing;
f. Shoe repairing;
g. Sale of L-irearms.
SEC'PIOiJ 2. Severability. If any section, sub-
section, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion oL-
this Ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or
I~].ace, is f.or any reason held to be invalid or unconstitu-
tional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions of L-his Ordinance or its application to other.
persons or places. 'Phe City Council hereby declares that it
woulc] have adopted this Ordinance, and each section, subsec-
tion, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion
thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more
sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses,
phrases, or portions, or the application thereof to any
person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutiona.t.
SECTION 3. The City Cleric is hereby ordered and
directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to
cause the same to be publis}Zed once in tine I:,ynwood Press, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council.

finally adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting
of said Council held on the 20 day of February ,
