AN ORDINADtCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE G'IT'Y OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING SECTION 32-2 OF' THE ;;YNGJOOD
CITY CODE RELATING TO SEWER SER~,rICE CHARGES,

THE CITY COi.]D1CIL~ OF THE CITY OF :LYN`o.'OOD HEREBY DGES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1_ Section 32-2 hereby is amended to read as
follows:
Section 32-2e Service Chargese 11^he City furnishes to the
ree.idential, commercial., business and manufacturing community
thereof, services and facilities in connection wii;h its sanitation and
sewerage systeme In consideration of such services and facilities,
'the following charges hereby are estab_Lished:
(a) Residential users: One dollar ($1e00) per rnonth for
each single=family dwelling and each multiple f"amily r•esldential
building with four (4) or fewer dwelling units,.
lb) Other users: Five dollars x$5,00) per month fb r each
meter
Section 2. If any section, subsection, subdivision, aentence,
clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance, or the application
'thereof to any person or place, is for any reason he'1d to be invalid
or unconstitutional by the decision of an•y court of competent juris-
diction, such decision shall not affect the vaa.idity of the remaining
portions of this ordinance or its application to other persons or
places, The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted
this ordinance, and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence,
clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact; than any one
or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases,
or portions, or the application thereof to anq person or place, be
declared invalid or unconstitutionale

Section 3, The City Cleric hereby is authorized and directed
to cause a copy of this ordinance to be published in the Lynwood Press,
a newspaper of general circulation in the City, within fifteen (15)
days after adoption hereof,
First read at an adjourned regular meeting of the City ilouncil
of said City held on the 3rd day oi' July, 1979, and finally adopted
and ordered published at an adjoi.,rncd regular meeting of said Counci:i.
held on the 17th day of July, 1979, by the foll.owirg vote:
