ORDINANCE NO. 1076
AN ORDINANCE OF 'I'IIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 570
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADDING TO AND THE RE-
CLASSIFICATION' OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES THAT
AMENDS THE ZONING NL9P WHICH IS PART OF SAiD
OR DINAR,' CE ,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby does ordain as follows:
Section 1. The official land use plan of the City of Lynwood as established
by Ordinance No. 570 is amended to reclassify certain properties as follows;
From "No Zone" to Cornmunity Facility (CF) Zone: A portion of C, H. V/atts
Land, more commonly known as the vacated Will Rogers School Property.
Section 2, That said classification shall apply in the manner set forth in detail
in the amendatory part F-4 of the Zoning Map of the City of Lynwood, being a part of
said Ordinance No. 570, which amendatory part is a part hereof.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cex-tify to the passage
of this Ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Lynwood .
Section 4. Severability If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase,
or portion of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or place, is for
any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or compe-
tent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of
this ordinance or its application to the remaining portions of this ordinance or its
application to other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it would
have adopted this ordinance, and each section subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, sub-
sections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions, or the application
thereof to any person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
First reading at the regular meeting of the City Council of said City on the 2nd day
of October, 1979, and finally adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 16th day of October, 1979.
Ayes: Councilmen BYORK, GREEN, HIGGINS, ROWS, MORRIS.
