HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2014-104RESOLUTION 2014-104 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FINAL PLAT OF TIFFIN HEIGHTS PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD) FOR LOT 29, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA WHEREAS, MMS Consultants, has filed with the City of Tiffin a final plat for Tiffin Heights PAD Lot 29, a sub -division to the City of Tiffin, Iowa, legally described on attached Exhibit "A", hereby incorporated and WHEREAS, The Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and have given their recommendations for the preliminary plat presented at the 07/02/14 meeting and with the statement they follow the Engineer and Fire Department recommendations, and WHEREAS, The Tiffin Fire Chief has reviewed and given their recommendations for the final plat, and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Hart Frederick, has given his review and comments of said final plat, provided however that no improvements shall be constructed or installed without his written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have been issued from the state and federal agencies; and NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Final Plat, for Tiffin Heights PAD Lot 29 is hereby approved; and further that the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all related legal documents, and that the City shall properly record this Resolution 2014-104 and if necessary as O'er instructions of City Attorney, the Sub -Dividers Agreement is not to be included with this resolution. That the lots within Tiffin Heights shall be zoned according to the official zoning map for the City of Tiffin, Iowa. On the 23 t day of July, 2014 at a regular City Council meeting Council person Upton introduced A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FINAL PLAT OF TIFFIN HEIGHTS PAD LOT 29, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Petersen. Ayes: Kahler, Petersen, Bartels, Upton Nays: none Absent: Ryan WHEREUPON four Council members voted for approval, Mayor Berner declared the motion carried and approved Resolution 2014-104 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
