Annual Leesburg 20K/5K Race to Benefit the Loudoun County
YMCA Scheduled for Sunday, August 17, 2014
Residents and drivers should expect road closures between 7am and 10am
Leesburg, VA (August 6, 2014) – The annual Leesburg 20K/5K race to benefit the Loudoun
County YMCA, sponsored by NOVA Plastic Surgery and Harris Teeter, will be held on Sunday,
August 17, 2014. This event draws hundreds of area runners to support the YMCA.
Rolling street closures will be in effect along the race route, which begins and ends at Market
Station (202 Harrison Street). Between 7:00am and 10:00am, residents and drivers should
expect street closures on the following streets:
• Harrison Street, between Loudoun and Catoctin Circle
• Catoctin Circle, between Harrison Street and the W&OD Trail
• Dry Mill Road, between Catoctin Circle and Lee Avenue
• South King Street, at the W&OD Trail
Residents and businesses in the surrounding area should be aware of reduced accessibility to
