A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE NEW
CCA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROPERTY TO A PUBLIC ZONING
Whereas, The City recognizes that the.current zoning is an R1 -E zoning which does not
allow for a school and; I
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that Planning & Zoning
recommended in March 2014 to approve the rezoning;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a date for public hearing on August 13, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. to rezone the new
CCA Elementary School property to a Public Zoning.
On the 2nd day of August, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Petersen introduced Resolution No. 2014-106, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE NEW CCA
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROPERTY TO A PUBLIC ZONING and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler
Ayes: Kahler, Petersen, Bartels, Upton, Ryan
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-106, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DTE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE NEW CCA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
PROPERTY TO A PUBLIC ZONING to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 2nd day of August, 2014.
