The City Council of the City of Lynwood her•eby does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Se~tion 19-101 of the Code cf the City of
Lynwood hereby is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 19-101. Parkin~ for certain purposes prohibitede
No person shall park a vehicle upon any roadway for
the principal purpose of displaying the vehicle for sale or for
greasing or repairing the vehicle, except repairs necessitated by an
emergency.
SECTION 2. Section 19-121 of the Code of the ~ity of
Lynwood hereby is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 19-121> Prohibiting the parking of trailers of anv
kind in the public right-of-way.
The parking of any trailer, of any kind including but
not limited to truck trailers, mobile homes, and boat trailers shall
be prohibited on all streets when unatta~hed to a tractor or automobile.
SECTION 3. Severabilit
In any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this ordinance, or the application thereof to
any person or place, is for any reason held to be lnvalid or unconsti-
tutional by the decision of any court of competent ~urisd~etion, such
decision shall not affect the validity of° the remaining portions of
this ordinance or its applieation to the remain~ng portions of` this
ordinapce or its applicat~on to cther persons or places. The City
Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance,
and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase
or porti.pn thereof, irrespective cf` the fact that any one or more
sections, subsect3ons, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or
portions, or the application thereof to any pe~°scn or place, be
declared invalid or unconstituti~nal,
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 5th of October, 1976, and f"nally and ordered
published at a regular meer,ing of said Coixncil heYd on the 19th day
of October , 1976.
