AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ADDING SECTION 2-9 TO THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FIXING THE
COMPENSATION OF CITY CLERK AND CITY TREAS-

The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2-9 is hereby added to the Code of
the City of Lynwood, to read as follows:
Sec. 2-9. Compensation of Citv Clerk and Cit
Treasurer.
The compensation of City Clerk of the City of
Lynwood, and of the City Treasurer of the City of
Lynwood shall be the sum of EIGHT HUNDRED ($800.00)
DOLLARS per month, payable bi-weekly, or on such
other basis as the City Council may from time to
time determine.
SECTION 2. Severability
If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence,
clause, phrase, or portion of this Ordinance, or the application
thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held to be in-
valid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of compe-
tent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this Ordinance or its application
to the remaining portions of this Ordinance or its application
to other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares
that it would have adopted this Ordinance, and each section, sub-
section, sub-div,ision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections,
subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions or the appli-
cation thereof to any person or place, be declared invalid or un-
constitutional.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the ~th day of ~.T~~~lv~ , 1976, and finally adopted and
ordered published at a regular mee~ing of said Council held on
the 20th day of Julv , 1976.
