AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING SECTION 5.39 OF THE
LYNWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO DOG LICENSE FEES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD I~EREBY
DOES ORDAIN AS FOT.LOWS :
Section l; Section 5.39 of the Lynwood City Code is
amended to read as follows:
Section 5•39 Amount of Fee. The license fee for
keeping, harboring, or maintaining a dog within the City shall
be as follows:
For every spayed female dog $5.00 (provided, however,
that the certificate of a licensed veterinarian attesting to
the spaying of the dog in question shall accompany the payment
of the license fee) and for all other dogs (puppies under the
age of four months excepted), $10.00.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby ordered and
directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to
cause same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 4th day of May, 1976, and adopted
and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 15th day of June, 1976, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris,
Rowe.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None. ~ _
