HomeMy Public PortalAbout2000/07/05 The Disciplinary Hearing of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret was held on Wednesday, July 5, 2000, 7:00 P.M., Municipal Court, Police Facility, 230 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey. The following were noted Present: Mayor James A. Failace Council member Remy Quinones " Janet Santoro " Buddy Sohayda Noted absent were Councilmembers Fazekas and O'Brien. Also noted present was Borough Attorney Coughlin, Business Administrator Nicholas Goldsack, Attorney Robert Hedesh, Ted Surick, Mike Bucsak and Anna Mae and William Kolibas. Mailed to The Home News Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted on the Bulletin Board on June 30, 2000. Disciplinary Hearing - John úddwell. Mayor Failace asked for a motion to be made to go into Closed Session to deliberate. Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers Quinones and Sohayda RESOLUTION #00-210 "RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION" was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote Councilmembers Crilley, Quinones, Santoro and Sohayda voted in the affirmative. Councilmembers Crilley and Fazekas were noted absent. At approximately 7:10 p.m. a Closed Session was held for Deliberations. At this time please note that the Mayor, Council and Borough Attorney left the room to deliberate in a Closed Session. Mayor Failace then asked for a motion to be made to go into a Closed Session to discuss Personnel Matters. Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers Crilley and Quinones RESOLUTION #00-211 "RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION" was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote Councilmembers Crilley, Quinones, Santoro and Sohayda voted in the affirmative. Councilmembers Fazekas and O'Brien were noted absent. At approximately 7;52 p.m. the meeting was again Closed. Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers Crilley and Quinones and unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers present this meeting was opened to the public at approximately 7:59 p.m. Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers Crilley and Quinones and unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers present, after no further discussion at approximately 8:00 p.m., this meeting was adjourned.
