AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADDING ARTICLE IV TO CHAPTER 8 OF THE
CO.DE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING THE
UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD HEREBY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, Article IV hereby is added to initial Chapter 8 of the
City of Lynwood to read as follows:
ARTICLE IV
Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings
Sec, 8-71. Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings
Adopted
The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1973
edition, hereby is adopted by reference with the amendments, modifi-
cations, and deletions set forth hereinafter, Not less than three
copies of said Code are on file in the office of the City Clerk and shall
be open to public inspection during normal business hours.
Sec. 8-72, Amendments to Uniform Code for the Abatement o£
Dangerous Buildings.
The Uniform Code the the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings adopted
in this Article is hereby amended in the following respect:
Sec. 205 is amended to read as follows: Tn order to provide for final
interpretation of the provisions of this Code ~ nd to hear appeals provided
for hereunder the City Council shall act as a Board of Appeals.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby order and directed to certify to
the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in
the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on
the 16th day of July, 1974, and finally adopted and ordered published at a regular
meeting oF the City Council held on the 6th day oF August, 1974, by the following
vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer, Morris, Rowe
Noes: Councilmen None
Absent: Councilmen None
