AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ADDING SUBSECTION (d) TO SECTION 13-35
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO
GARBAGE COLLECTION FEES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Secti;on l. Subsection (d) is hereby added to Section
13-35 of the City Code of the City of Lynwood to read as follows:
"(d) This section shall not be applicable to the owner
or occupants of single-family dwellings."
Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection,
subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance,
or the application thereof of any person or place, is for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of
any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not
af£ect the validity of the remaining portions o£ this ordinance
or its application to other persons or places. The City Council
of the City of Lynwood hereby declares that it would have adopted
this ordinance and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence,
clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that
any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences,
clauses, phrases, or portions, or the application thereof to any
person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adopting of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in
the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City heLd on the lst day of April, 1975, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 15th day of April, 1975, by the following vote:
