A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT TO SLIM'S SALOON AT 301
MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA DUE TO A CHANGE IN
OWNERSHIP
Whereas, the City Council, of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has reviewed and will determine the.
granting of the Alcohol Permit requested by the Slim's Saloon located with the corporate city
limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and;
Whereas, the City Council has not discovered any reason to deny the Alcohol Permit for
Slim's Saloon, therefore City Council directs the City Clerk to submit for local authority,
approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
WHEREUPON, On the 13tH day of August 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa. Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution 2014-112 and made a
motion for A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT TO SLIM'S
SALOON DOING BUSINESS AT 301 MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN,
IOWA. Motion seconded by Council person Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton
Nays: NONE
Absent: Petersen
With four votes of approval, Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION 2014-112
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT TO SLIM'S SALOON DOING BUSINESS AT
301 -MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA, by adopted and signified
his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13TH day of August 2014 and approved by the Mayor.
