INTRODUCTION OF GUEST III. OLD BUSINESS PARKS a.) Riverfront Park No new news b.) Special Use Permit — Riverfront Park No new news IV. NEW BUSINESS PARKS a.) Conditional Use Permit — Fish Pen Docks We have turned in all information pertaining to the Conditional Use Permit for the fish pen docks to the Planning and Zoning Committee. We hope to have their approval and head to City Council for their decision by July. b.) SIPA Site — Heartland Gymnastics The Parks and Recreation Director, Parks Supervisor and Recreation Coordinator have walked the site for SIPA and have talked with the Historical Museum. This year the Parks department will be taking care of any irrigation issues and mowing the grass once every ten days. We have invited the Historical Museum to the next meeting for questions, comments or concerns. c.) LOT We have turned in all LOT requests for 2005 and have received d.) Skate park The Skate Park will break ground on July 15th, 2005. We need to work closes with the group heading the project to make sure things are falling together nicely so we do not need to go back and redo the project. e.) Four Corners Project The four corners project will be turned over the City Parks Department on July 1st. We will see over the year how much time it takes and cost towards maintenance of this area there will be so we can have a better estimate for budgeting purposes next year. RECREATION a.) After School Program The after school program has finished for the year. This will be the last time for this program, due to low attendance. We are happy to have ran it for three years. b.) Youth Softball/Baseball/T-ball This year we have 5 teams and about 90 participants. We look forward to a successful season. c.) Adult Softball Adult Softball will begin July 1 Ith. We look at having about 10 teams this year. We have had lots of phone call and hope for a successful season. d.) ASA Softball This year we have sent out over 300 letters to teams from Boise, Lewiston and Caldwell. We are still not getting the responses we have hoped for. e.) Presentation to City Council - June The Advisory Committee will be presenting to City Council in Late June. City Council would like to be informed of our needs and the direction we are heading. V. SET NEXT MEETING AND AGENDA Next meeting is set for June 14th, 2005 at 6pm. The City of McCall's Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee meetings are held open to the public and handicapped accessible.
