ORDINANCE N0. 988
AN QRDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING SUB-SECTION (b) OF SECTION 32-49 OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO GENERAL METERED RATES FOR
WATER SERVED THROUGH METERS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD HEREBY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Sub-Section (b) of Section 32-49 of the Code of the
City of Lynwood relating to general metered rates hereby is amended to
r.ead as follows:
"Sub-Section (b) of Sec. 32-49 Quantity Charge. In addition to
the readiness to serve charge set forth in this sub-section, the rate
supplied to consumers through a meter shall be as follows:
"Established. For any and all consuption in cubic feet per
month, twenty-three cents (0.23) per one hundred (100) cubic feet or
fraction thereof."
SECTION 2. Newly established metered rate shall become effective
for all billings beginning October 1, 1975.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published in the Lynwood Press, a
nespaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 3rd day of June,.1975, and finally adopted and ordered
published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 17th day of
June, 1975, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Byork, Green, Liewer
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Morris, Rowe
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
