A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND CONFIRMING THAT ALL ADDRESSES
WITHIN TIFFIN'S CITY LIMITS MUST HOLD A TIFFIN ADDRESS
Whereas, The City recognizes that it has been updating it practices and fixing issues
within the city limits for safety and conformity and;
Whereas, The City is making a proclamation that all addresses currently in existence
and addresses once annexed into the City limits will all hold a Tiffin address and;
Whereas the City Council of the. City of Tiffin recognizes that this update process has
gone from updating several street re-namings and now it is ready to finish old and non-
conforming/updated city addressing within the city limits. Which would include having all
addresses along Highway 6/Marengo Road to have Tiffin city addresses;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
authorizing and confirming that all addresses within Tiffin's city limits must hold a Tiffin
address.
On the 13th day of August, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced Resolution No. 2014-113, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING AND CONFIRMING THAT ALL ADDRESSES WITHIN TIFFIN'S CITY
LIMITS MUST HOLD A TIFFIN ADDRESS and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton
Nays: NONE
Absent: Petersen
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and. Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-113, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND
CONFIRMING THAT ALL ADDRESSES WITHIN TIFFIN'S CITY LIMITS MUSTHOLD
A TIFFIN ADDRESS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13th day of August, 2014.
